Carers Hub

​The Carers Hub offers information, advice, guidance and support to carers on behalf of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Staffordshire County Council and NHS. We provide a free of charge service to all unpaid adult and young carers across the county, including carers who live out of the area but provide care for someone who does live in Staffordshire. ​ ​

Get Advice from Citizens Advice Staffordshire North and Stoke on Trent

Problems rarely come singly. Our advice looks at the whole of a person\'s situation and addresses the whole of the problem. Citizens Advice\'s uniquely holistic service enables us to address each of these issues, accessing specialist advice within the organisation where necessary, making referrals to external agencies where appropriate, but all offered under the umbrella of the area’s only genuine one-stop shop.

The Staffordshire Mental Health Helpline is for you if you are feeling concerned, worried, stressed or low, or if you are worried about someone you know. You may be going through a difficult time and feel that you have no one to talk to.

Restart

At Restart we are often the last line of hope for some individuals facing homelessness. We are proud of our unique commitment to taking on board clients that others may have deemed too challenging. If you or somebody you know are facing homelessness or leaving prison, you can make a direct referral for supported housing to our service. It can be done online in the strictest confidence.

The Dove Service

Founded in 1984 by Dr Linda Machin, a leading research fellow, the Dove Service is the only grief support charity in Stoke-on-Trent & North Staffordshire, providing services to people within the community from the age of 4+ who are experiencing issues relating to bereavement, loss or life-changing illness.

Affected by sexual violence?

We are a registered charity based in North Staffordshire. We provide support for anyone who has experienced or is affected by any form of sexual violence including rape, sexual assault, domestic violence, \'honour\' related violence and childhood sexual abuse, whether recently or in the past.
