February raises awareness for the LGBT+ community. In 2017 a national survey was done of which over 100,000 patient from this community participated. It was found that the majority of these patients had experience negative care and felt their needs had not been met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In July 2018 the Government put in a LGBT+ action plan. This was put into place to improve patient satisfaction, feedback and ensure their needs are met regardless of their gender, age or sexuality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
